    Howdy..!!

    Kia'ora all....

    Stumbled across this forum sum how just before christmas, got pretty hooked & thought id better stop being rude & join up... Just kinda started back at work (2nd week in) so i knew today was the day..!!

    got my FAL on its way in the mail.

    Went on my 1st deer hunt during chrissy with a mate, we got 1 each..he had a 270 & i used his ruger 10/22 lol....crept in on it head shot at 50m......tango down

    other than that i havnt done much hunting really, pritty new to it actualy, im more of a fisherman(sea)..apart from a couple of pig hunts with the bro's & shooting our own pigs & cows in the paddock for the freezer thats about it.

    Keen to get into more deer & alot of bird shooting this year.

    cheers guys,

    yeah done alot of possum & rabbit shooting and stuff like that, but to me i dont consider that hunting its more fun & not serious haha if u catch my drift..!!

    bay of islands hole in the rock is just 20mins boat ride north..mad kingis....& NZ's beuty poor knights marine reserve not far either.

    not in aages, i cant go too deep anymore coz my sinus's are shit & i cant equalize.
    i just snorkel around the rocks to get a feed now.

    Che che!!! welcome fulla ha ha a fellow northlander im a former northlander from Kaeo.I get back up to Parkaraka every cople of years to stay with family and fish my ass off youll love it on here mate heaps of good bugger's.Just watch out for the southern folk as they like unarmed hunting trips!!!!!
