I am looking at moving back home to New Zealand from Australia, would be looking at bringing a shotgun and two rifles back. Is there a limit of how many firearms you can have on the plane? I am...
If you are interested in suppressed 410 shotguns. I would have a look at https://saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/gunroom/hushpower and there are a few articles.
I believe Kimber have stopped making the Montana in 223 and 243.
I have seen these rifles around some of the gunshops & there seems to be quite a difference between the prices depending on the store. I would ring around a few stores if I was buying a rifle from...
I believe that Norma manfacture ammo and cases. Your local gunshop hopefully will be able to order it in.
I have previous looked at buying some metric cartridge brass from Germany and the gunshop that I was dealing with was Grauwolf (www.grauwolf.net). They had advised that they would be able to send...
Did anyone go to the militaria auction in Wellington and was there a good turn out?
Is the Kimber hunter rifle likely to come out in 223?
If you wont to use 50 grn GMX projectiles in the 223. Hornady load this weight in their Full Boar range.
You could also look at using the hornady gmx 55 grain load as a option, however it will depend on the length of the bullet what the accuracy is likely to be.
It might be worth looking at some of the Norma ammo. I believe that there onyx load is suitable for deer and it is a 55 grain load.
If you live in Christchurch, it would be worth seeing what steel ammo that Fosters Chainsaws have stock (they only stock Hull ammo and only the store located on Blenheim Road sells ammo)
I believe that Brent Sandow knives offers a similar service
Are the PSE stocks easily available in New Zealand?
