    130 Barnes TSX vs TSXBT

    Hi Guys

So ordered the dies today, have the powder on the way as well. WAHOOOOOO

looking to try the barnes and I have found 2 in the weight I wish to try, 130g

TSX and TSX Boat Tail, so question is, is one better than the other or is it just a case of what will preform best in my rifle

I have load data from the Barnes website for the boat tail, they dont list any data for plain TSX, guess they want me to buy the book. Can I use the data for the TSXBT to work up a load.

Sorry if these dumb questions, figure better to ask then burn money or my face...haha

    Cheers

    Dino

Everyone will give you different story, I would go ttsx they open way better I have found, and boat tail or on boat tail it won't matter the distances they will be used

And this is not the advice one should give a new reloader but....
Push em as hard as you can safely.
They are completely different to conventional bullets and need as much speed as you can get to transfer shock. (out of a 308 at least)

    Thanks Guys

interlocks as in SST or soft point?

I was thinking of trying interbonds in 150 grain.

Run SSTs in factory and my rifle certainly likes them though.

    Cheers
