    Sounds like your rifle may have a looser chamber as you ae not hitting any pressuere signs and the velocity is indicating that pressure is still low, push a bit more, be careful, and you shoud find another accuracy node at around 2900 to 3000.
    Personally I would go to 150gr as recommended and probably a slower powder like 2217, this is when a .270 starts to make sense and becomes way more versatile.
    Loading up a few upwards from 61.5gr and see if it comes back into a node.

    Looking more to an accurate load because if it bug eyes and 100 it should be at worst MOA at 300, this allowing for more confidence in a light rifle, with only wind to account for. The higher velocity will no doubt add benefit to a a flat shooting load on a scope with no BDC turret or reticle.

    I got the SFII 7mm RM running 162gr for more punch and distance past 300 and up to 1k.
