Indeed and I'm hoping to prove that for myself just as soon as I've got code compliance on this bloody house!

I used the Hornady Superformance With the SST and it was accurate and worked very well in my 270.

That stuff is subjective. It worked well for me and how I used them, But Billo might have different criteria. These really are only things you can work out for yourself often.
Ammo like guns, knives, beer, vehicles, tits and arse....it's ALL very subjective....except steak...that's always gotta be pink and bloody!

My load is probably not the best as I just used what powder I had on hand and used my good powder (reloder 26) for the 105gr targex. I do have other powders now that probably would work better for the 95gr, being 2209 and superformance. I will work up a load up with one of these powders when I run out of 2213sc, both should would likely see an increase in velocity.
44.4gr of 2213sc loaded just off the lands behind no particular brand of primer. I use the same load for the 95gr targex.
    105gr targex is 45.6gr of reloder 26.

To be fair I quite often use the fiocchi 95gr sst ammo if I run low on reloads and they are going very slow out of a shorter barrel (2600fps) and have shot plenty of deer no worries with them as well.

The can of worms grows!
If you have the components and the inclination, 10 rounds of one of the "bad" powder charges may be illuminating

looking forward to your chrono results. Have loaded exactly the same projectile and powder combination for a friends 243 . I stopped at 41.5gns 2209 as that's the maximum listed load I could find in my reloading manuals. He shoots under 300yrds and usually under 200yrds, so speed and sub moa aren't a factor. He wants , cheap, and minute of deer or goat. We have been using the 90speer with good results. Load development was check for pressure signs with a work up to book max. backed off max 1/2gn. zeroed rifle. 3 shots went around 1.5inchs, go hunting job done. Will do the same for the 95sst with hornadys usual recommended 20thou jump. If it shoots like a shotgun, then back to mr speer. But I believe it will most likely be good enough for what's required.

It had crossed my mind to load some of the 43gr for exactly that reason

We got the book Max from an older Hornady reloading manual...before lawyers got involved I'll report back after the weekend with results... it's going to be interesting

Honestly I wouldn't bother unless you're really keen to do your own limited test of "the process"

Would I be right in thinking the 2213 is slower burning?

@Zedrex is your Franchi suppressed? And do you leave the suppressor on it?
