    Hodgdon have data

    https://www.hodgdonreloading.com/rel...c=true&type=54

Looks like 44-45 grains would be a good place to start

Need to check the details but it look quite slow for an 85 gr in a 243.
This is with a 20" barrel, 24" shows 3130 fps.

Yet when you look at Hodgdon's site they have staball 6.5 driving a solid copper bullet at 3400.
GRT shows a max of 3120 fps at 45 gr with the barns TSX while Hodgdon gets up to 45.6

Guess that why it's important to consult a number of sources for your data and then work up slowly

Being a solid copper, the barnes may increase pressure and therefore velocity.
I have a barrel from a blown up rifle from that sort of thing happening

Barnes generally won't because of the relief grooves in the shank of the projectile,

The Nosler E-Tips don't have grooves & they have along bearing surface so they will definitely increase pressure as noted by Nosler in their reloading data
