Hornady make a 87 grain spire point. The 87/90 gn projectiles in .25 cal are quite soft in construction. I’d call them a heavy varmit pill. I used a lot of them in the .257 Roberts and .25/06. Great for Roos and small to medium pigs and goats. I had some monumental failures on large goats, pigs, fallow and horses due to lack penetration. Four in the shoulder of one horse without getting through before I slowed it up for a head shot. You need to go to 100 grains in cup and core to get reliable performance in .257 cal.
Barnes x would be worth a try in <100 gn pills if you can’t or won’t shoot 100s.
