Proof the cases are oversize for the chamber.
If the scratch marks are near the base, and your FL die is --fully-- down, your only option is a body die, and if a std body die doesn't fix it, then a smaller-diam version is needed

Yes thats what I was leading to. A little more testing/measuring would help. The chamber die relationship seems to be off, could be a chamber at the tight end of the spec and a die on the loose side or one or the other completely out of spec.
