    .338 bullet pulling die

    Long shot but does anybody around the wellington region have a .338 cal bullet pulling die? need to pull x 50 edge rounds, some beers and/or a wristy payment

    Just a hammer type puller would work wouldn’t it
    I just do 10 at a time if I have alot to do

    What did you do to get 50 rounds that need pulling lol

    Hammer is a nightmare haha. Rebarreling a rifle to a different cal

    Vice grips and the press will work, obviously buggers the projectile for re-use though.

    Wonder if it'll leave them in tact with some soft jaws like O state aluminium or plastic tightened to the minimum required?

    Edit: Or if you're willing to sacrifice one piece of fired brass use that to slip over the bullet before clamping with the vice grips.

    Iv got a press mounted puller here with a .338 collet. Can post it up if you cant find anything closer?

    Yeah those are great for connectors etc. Or oil filters

    I would recommend the ones with the pin that holds the rubber insert through the side though as the ones with a screw through the face of the pad will fuck things once they wear down a little.
