The xc and x47 cases can handle more pressure without damaging the brass. It will however eat the barrel. Any 6mm with 105's @ 3k is going to chew a barrel reasonably quickly.

I'm not arguing - it's a hunting rifle and I'm seriously unlikely to wear the barrel out, much as I'd like to think I might get to shoot that many animals :-)
