Sorry - just saw this.

I use a patch on an old bronze brush with Autosol soaked in. 20-30 strokes through the throat and a few through the rest of the barrel. I do that after a really good clean with Eliminator and be sure to get the Autosol patched out before a patch with Long Life to finish.
