I used them. They had a brown tip I remember. 3K from a 6.5x55 with a 22" barrel. W760 powder. Shot fine and killed stuff good but softer than the 120 7mm which I dont think matters cos of the higher SD of the 6.5. I recall a pass through in the ruahines at about 300 yards and it poll axed. That's going back a bit.

I highly recommend you use the speer gold dots for bush hunting. 6.5mm 120 or 140gr. They are bonded but still expand exceptional.
I do alot of bush hunting and will only use bonded or mono copper now after cupncore failures after clipping vegetation.

I've had the 120 gn BT out of a 6.5 swede at good pace, go through the chests of two adult fallow at 70 meters. Occurred in the fog situation after waiting for a group of deer to separate to avoid the very thing! Both dropped with 10 meters of each other. Great pill at swede and .260/Creedmore velocities.

The lad pulled off a great shot last night. 260 yds. Quartered through front shoulder a wee bit high. Exited following side and broke the vertebrae on the way through. One shot and very dead by the time we got to it.
