    That will do me, if the rifle can shoot other factory ammunition as well as that, and I wont be turning meat into raspberry jam with those SP's.

    I think you will find the 270 is a bit more 'modern' than the 7x57.

    Think you will also find that a 140gn 270 pill will have a better BC than a 7mm pill of the same weight (assuming exactly the same brand/type).
