Whilst you are correct in that Steves wholesale wouldn't have entertained it, probably like everyone else they asked for more than they were going to get is probably more like it.

You can easily see how shortages get worse, its a vicious circle everyone starts stockpiling. When there's plenty around you just use it till it runs out.
Having 223 & 308's, probably 243, 270's you are always pretty sweet for ammo or something to put a load together.

Judging by what's happening in the states the Yanks have looked after us pretty well. Probably because we are so insignificant our amounts no big deal to give us some. They could easily not.

I heard from a shop owner that the next shipment won't be until September.

Hope so! I was told december today

I don't know how they can make any call with certainty, this far out.
The shipment just arrived was supposed to come last October I believe.

I suppose we are lucky that this lot did arrive, it's been a while coming!

Funny. I was talking to a shop owner a little over a week ago and he said that Mr Tipple was trying to buy the shipment.

It’s become more available over here in the last month. So definitely more available to buy. Min pack size is now 1kg for 08,09, 06, 13 etc. price is up 10% to $61/500 grams equivalent from about $56.

I always maintain stocks of 10-15 kg of powder and restock when getting close to last kg. Buy primers in 1000 bricks and seem to be going ok. Primers are the weak link here! No Aust manufactures. So take action if not the case in NZ.

had a call from my local to come pick up my 1 tub of 2217, was a bit gutted only one tub... turns out its a 1kg tub so thats bloody gold! should last me a little while longer

Yeah, I saw the email and thought about getting some, but decided I still have enough to keep me going for a while so will leave it for someone else.
