$190 FOR 2206H, can get 2209 and 2225 for $30-$40 cheaper, some outlets are creaming the 2206H due to the shipment size being cut by 50%.

Generally about $140AUD Here. But scarcer stuff bit more.
I only use 2208, so, easy to get. But it's interesting.

I was told ADI sell ALL their powders to the distributors for the same price. But extra importer , distributer costs for you blokes.

Primers are back to more or less pre covid//sensible prices in the US. (Say $80AUD) But still mostly around $195AUD
    here. Importers are screwing us.

    1. Defence is the main customer.
    2. ADI ammo
    3. US including Hodgden come third.
    4. Reloaders are last.
    AU first, NZ second.

High turnover powders such as 2208 are produced most of the year.
Low turnover such as pistol, shotgun are least produced and only 1 run a year or even less.

I'll try and find the link

NZ is way down on the list, probably after AU reloaders.
Don't forget its Auckland and then down to you guys

Got a reply back from ADI, basically saying that half the issue is unable to ship it here as it's DG class 1.3 and a bloody small run of TB manufactured anyway.

I'm guessing there's not many vessels wanting to carry class 1.3 explosives to nz?

    Though US gets its share..

    I need a new hobby

I suppose regulating people away from reloading is one way to do it.

Yes I am told NZ comes after Au reloaders. They take as much 2206H as they want and then we get what's left. For those buying 1kg note NZ only got 1/2 what was ordered and hence it could be a year before you see any more, I bought 4kg of 2206 and 2208 and that made my eyes water, so if you expect to want more now may be your only chance.

I’d like to reread threads from a number of years ago where we discussed the pros and cons of hoarding. I know mine didn’t age well, looking at my powder stock, and all I did was buy a bit whenever it was available.
I’ll just call it prudent, calculating average usage over time, the vagaries of supply, and buying accordingly.

IMO if Ukraine escalates or if the Tiawan thing breaks out all powder/components will be like rocking-horse sh1t.
