Thread: Aguila 60gn .22lr

Hi all
i found these didnt work flight wise in my bang sticks [shot gun groups an sideways impacts ]
but i came across a Volquartsen fast twist 1:8 22lr Ruger 10/22 barrel for sale
Had read online that the heavy 60gn on semis would open the bolt a tad before the bigger massed projectile would fly down the barrel
so built a bolt action to use this barrel ..still didnt have the moa that i felt should happen
there was a factory fitted thread adaptor on the Volquartsen barrel so had this removed ,rethreaded the barrel direct to a good AimSport suppressor
Wish i had used a better quality donner bolt action

Now i have a good moa shooter @ 75 m zero .Very Very quiet but man do those 60grain hit hard
