    Best Primer?

Have run out of Federal 210's and it seems they are hard to find in stock at the moment.... It this a good time to try a "better" primer? Suggestions?

Fed 210's get my vote. I've got enough for a little while yet..... I think.

considering you should probably re-work your load... id say stick with it unless you have no option but to change. guncity had some 210 not so long ago.

CCI 200s are always good and are usually easier to find. I'm transitioning from Fed to CCI due to this same problem.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

I had my best 5 shots groups with a 223 (0.156") with Fiocchi. Really consistent.

up till now for me its always been whatever the cheapest I can buy in bulk. I brought 20,000 Muron primers @ 28 per thousand when they firt cme on the market. Then 20 thousand Winchesters at $60/1000 and currently have 15000 fiocchi SR on the shelf, they were $45/1000 from memory. Since don't shoot much at the pistol club these should last nearly forever, especially as my 45 uses large pistol and new gun will be large rifle.

Up till now I guess the phrase "cheap is good" would have been the best description to describe my buying habits

Yes most definitely .Get the newest Federal primers made in 2014. Think about quality reliability performance etc. Federal seems to have a mortgage on those terms. They are very good.

Pretty sure they were rebranded Murom primers. Belmont has Murom LRM primers, thicker cups. Heard of the standard ones pulling a Winchester on some people, but have used a few hundred in .223 with no problem, been great actually.
