Also can a primer that hasnt been fired be reused after it has been pushed out with a resizing die ? would be great if I could as they are expensive these days.
You can also take the decapping pin off most dies so you could leave the primer in the case if you're going to resize the case again.

    What I would do/what I have done.

Also, if you're going to try and chamber and shoot tight rounds make sure your locking lugs are lubed. Can end up galling them otherwise.

I don’t want any lube to potentially get on the primer when resizing so removal seems like the best option.

I found it took 2 or 3 firings before my new cases got tight to chamber even though i didnt have the die wound down far enough. So there no hurry to measure them at first, as long as they go in easily and the bolt closes easily. You ll ptobably need to tighten it down a bit moresoon anyway.

Eventually, what you want is that the fired case base to shoulder datum (.350” dia probably) should decrease by about .002” to .005” after FL sizing.

this is the issue, i have 20 or so that do not go in easily, would be a missed shot if i had to cycle them in the busy, way to slow and too much effort involved in closing the bolt

Take the internals out of the die and run the round through again
