    Hogden H100V and ADI equivalents

Can any of you smart chaps confirm if H100V is the same as H1000 which I understand is ADI2217 under Hogden label ?

    Other source is:

Powder equivalents, ADI Powders Handloaders' Guide

ADI don't have a "straight" comparison with many of the Hodgdon powders so be careful!!!

As "I" understand the H100 is more "like" the ADI2213sc, however the H100 is spherical and the 2213 is "extruded" (bulkier)…

    Just my 0.02c$

I thought all the Hodgdon stick powder was made by ADI and are simply re-badged. The Hodgdon ball powder are made by someone else.

Most, if not all, of the ball powders sold by Hodgdon and Winchester are made by St Marks Powder Company. Some are the exact same powder in different bottles like Win231 and HP-38, or Win296 and H110.

I was having an argument with a mate who wouldn't believe me that 2209 was the same as h4350.
He sent an email to adi and they confirmed they were identical.

Thankyou for your recent enquiry with regard to reloading using ADI Sporting powders.

Some ADI propellants are sold in the US by the Hodgdon Powder Company, including AR2208 which is sold as Varget. It is the same powder.

Attached is a listed of other powders sold in the US under the Hodgdon brand.

Extreme caution should be taken and loads should be worked up accordingly. Refer to our website at ADI Powders Handloaders' Guide or our hand-loaders’ guide for more information, warnings and reloading safety.

We thank you for using ADI Sporting Powders.
    Yours Sincerely

thanks every one for helpful comments. The stick vs ball powders explains it.
I my original interest and question regarding H100V is for 180gn projectiles in 300wsm.
Plan B is RL22, but according to Nosler reload data base the H100V is ~ 50fps faster (& "accurate")
Any one know if/where Hodgdon H100V is available in NZ ?

Have a look on "Steve's Wholesale" site. He's the importer. If he has it you just get a gun shop to get it in. I use it quite a bit. .243 and 300saum.

Here's the link, and it looks like it is in stock: Hodgdon Powder
