I was interested to read the differences in case dimensions in the Saubier link. The BSA Hunter short action I had in Hornet years back never shot worth a damn & the cases were always bulged out to one side. I only had Rem & Win cases & both were as bad as each other. Obviously the cases weren't parallel to the bore when it went off, so it wasn't a hard call to move it on. I'm guessing it was a max chamber too, the bulge above the web was quite visible.
I see that bulge in a number of cases I pick up at the range, it seems oversize chambers aren't exclusive to the Hornet
