I've found them to work quite well on wallabies. Maybe a little inconsistent though.
Have shot one side on thru the shoulders (heard the shoulders crunching from the impact) which ran stumbling for about 50m. Damn rear wheel drive.
Have texas heartshot one as it bounced away and it dropped on the spot. Bullet didn't exit. Should have autopsied it to examine the bullet but had no time.
Majority have been bang flops with good placement so they're obviously getting reasonable expansion and doing quite a bit of wounding... most of the time. Some inexplicable runner from what felt like identical shots.
Wouldn't hesitate to shoot a fallow with one. I think hilar or shoulder would be fine. Neck shoot if feeling clever. Be prepared to track and understand they don't deliver the shock of high velocity rounds.
