Cheers @Gibo, I'll probably need the big boss as a loaded .404 Jeffery is a smidge over 90mm.

Stu I'm sure mine is the big boss and I just measured the gap it's same as Gibos but press is stronger. The raptor is 120mm oal and I reload with ease so the .404 will be piss easy.

I have three Lee Classic Cast, started with the 50 Cal one then got a normal one, liked them so much I got another 50 Cal set.

    Big, strong & cheap.

No problem with the 50 BMG, 375 CT imp & even longer 385 Terminator

Redding ultra mag. Plenty of space and plenty of leverage as well as being stupidly strong.

Had a big day on Saturday on my Lee anniversary single stage (900 rounds). During the many hours at the bench, I did wonder how much longer it will last. Have had approximately 8,000 round assembled with it.

I have broken a couple parts in the part, but have some extra parts I've brought back from the US on various trips over the year. Will get a Progressive shortly, but will get another single stage too (maybe RCBS or similar).

    Saturday's effort below:

Loading pistol or .223 for my AR on a single stage would do my head in.
You have certainly earned yourself the right to buy a decent progressive😆

I like my Lyman cast steel/iron.... but then I havent really used any others and I only load pretty normal cals.
I would not buy an alloy press of any brand.

    So much this!
The last lot of 1000 223 I loaded took well under a hour on a mates 1050.
Single stage is only for low volume rounds or load development for me these days-time is just to valuable!
