Hey thanks for that guys, very usefull. The barrel is a Bartelin 1:7.5 twist, finished just a smidgen over 24". It shoots "fast" with the 130 gn Norma factory ammo, close to 3200 fps, and it shoots it pretty good too.
So I was a bit underwhelmed by the 156gn velocities, hence pushing the brass a bit further than I'd normally do. It's loaded to just over 50 thou (1.27mm) off the lands and that makes for some compression with these powders at the top end.
Given that GRT "says" my pressures are within limits it would be good to repeat the experiment with Lapua brass . . . . Anyone got a few pieces spare?
