    Reloading precision ammo speed

I'm bored so just timed myself doing ten rounds through the mighty hornady auto charge
They were weighed to .1g and while the powder was filling the pan I was seating the bullet before.
It worked out to 32 seconds per round so approx 112 an hour.
Still got forty to go tonight before annealing the next lot!
Just wondering where that fits in with other peoples experiences?

    That's the first 200 of 800 6.5x55.
    Another 200 of 22-250 a 150 308 and 50 300norma mag plus the neighbours 270.
Iam going fast as, then I can get to the range slash hunting when it stops raining .
Rain is good at the moment though

I'm guessing you are fortunate enough to have a "big back yard" where you can indulge your addiction without encountering others. Go hard!

    About the same as me.

    There are some variables though.

I prep my brass (resize, deburr). Before any reloading session so it's good to go.

Speed of actual reloading depends on your press, scales, and powder dispenser.

I use a turreted press and weigh every charge.

Yep first tumble, clean necks ,anneal, graphite, lube, size, trim, prime, and then use a hornady auto charge and seat in the one operation.
The quick part is the charging and seating.

In my case I tried case sorting, weighing brass, careful measuring of powder etc with my TCU. For all the difference it made in repeatable accuracy (steel plates to 600m) I decided it was not really worth faffin around. Now I have gone back to using my Dillon 550, neckup and deprime .223 brass on the first station and round the press it goes.
Fireformed with the first loading then load and shoot till case is stuffed. The only thing I do do is keep the same headstamp if possible.
The 6.5TCU has become my favourite as brass is cheap and it matters not if you don't recover it and performance is pretty good too.

I do load my 300NM with a proceedure like @andyanimal31 uses but ranges are longer every little bit helps there.
