    Is RL17 the new Unicorn?

    Anyone know if this stuff still exists, or it's simply a mythical product condemned to the world of hard to get products..

    That's was from the importer who will then supply retailers.
    Best to put your name down at your local that sells RL powders

    It might have a twin sister of another brand. Bofors makes the powder for Norma, Alliant etc and some are the same except for slight variations between batches

    RL16 is supposed to be similar to RL17 but RL16 is more temperature stable and was supposed to be an improvement is what I'm led to believe?

    So RL16 should be similar to 17, although doesn't help your cause as most are holding onto their stashes.

    Bofors make RL-22 (it is THE powder used in Swedish Military 6.5x55mm)

    Reload Swiss makes RL-17, and sell it as RS60. This is THE powder used in Swiss Military GP11 7.5x55mm.

    From an old (2013).. Guns & Ammo article:-

    RL22 = Norma MRP
    RL19 = Norma 204
    RL15 = Norma 203
    RL25 = MRP2
    Moa Hunter likes this.

    Wind is in the art department.
    Light is pure fucking voodoo.

    I use RL 22 for my 300WM so when I saw it suggested MRP was the same I did some research. A) can I buy it and B) is it the same.

    No and not really - close but different. Read info on long range forum from kiwi kid s https://www.longrangehunting.com/thr...ma-mrp.204962/
