Thread: Serpent Projectiles ex Delta Mike

I see DM have a new (I think) line of PC cast bullets Serpent, made in NZ. Are these new to market? Is it a one person band smaller scale operation or something larger?

I'm interested in how the 6.5mm gas check 160gn perform if anyone has experience- especially max velocity. HRBC who DM also stock have a 140gn GC in 6.5mm but has not to my knowledge been available for a while maybe never here in NZ.

I see they also have a .379 dia 255gn 38-55 bullet. Guess I'll be trying that in my new Uberti

I can't see how you could go wrong getting 250 and trying those

Readers are out of stock of the Australian Black Widow bullets for 38-55

More likely a locally made product will be more consistently available

And if your rifle doesn't like them you can melt them down again

Recycling is all the rage isn't it

There is a guy here in Invers who does "semi commercial" casting for the pistol guys, maybe he has gone fully commercial. If it is him hus boolits are pretty well thought of. Cheers
