    Sierra 125gr Pro Hunter 308

Hey all, a couple of pics of a Sierra 125gr Pro Hunter 308 projectile (entry/exit wounds as well)
Projectile found under skin on offside on a young fallow buck, shot at about 130m.
Approx. 17mm across and retained 119gr, cleaned projectile fairly well to get a accurate weight.
    Well impressed with performance.

Was shot by my son, using the 125grn at bottom end of powder range, so yes less recoil for the young lad

I hurt my shoulder so I loaded up some 125gr SSTs 308 instead of the usual 168gr Amax type projectiles shot this 90LB pig in the head from behind at about 40m away FUCK blew half its head off dropped on the spot

Years back my old hunting mate used 125 gr Noslar BT's in his Rem 742 semi that I loaded for him , dropped reds no problem with proper placement.

I’ve been running factory American whitetail 150gr through my tikka t3x .308 and boy are they knocking everything over. Pretty keen to start reloading my own though to try bring cost of ammo down a bit.
