    Sierra 150gn 7mm GKs - performance on game?

    in these days of shortages I trawled thru some older stocks of pills on hand and came across a full box of 50 GKs. I'm thinking about running them in short bbl (16in) 7mm08 - Sika and fallow predominantly, the occasional red meat animal.
    Can any one shed real world experience of the 150 GKs on deer ?

    I've shot the 140gr GK with great success in 7mm08 and 284 win both 18inch barrels, can't see what the 150gr won't work either

    I ran the 150gk in my 284. Shot fallow, pigs and reds with it from up close out to 460yds. Easy to get shooting and devastating on game. @GWH runs them in his Saum(sure I have the right cal) and recommended them to me. I remember reading @Seventenths 284 build story and he ran them in a 16" barrel with great results.

    Yep they are easy to get shooting well and kill great.

    I use them as a mag fit load in my 7 saum, doing about 3k
