Thread: Testing the new 6.5 143gn ELD-X

Just started load development for a .264 Win Mag, was going to look at the ELD-X, but waiting for field results to come in before I go there, looks good with 140gn Interlock at 3000fps and 130gn Berger at 3250fps as a dual load at the mo, will play with the 140 Berger and 130 Sirocco next week, aiming for 3200fps and 3300fps, based on progress at the mo it should be easy and problem free to get, .264 Mag might be a bit fast for the Amax replacement inside 300yds, but might be useful past there if it behaves like the Amax it replaces (other than the supposed melty tip!)
