    They will still take down a deer, just avoid the shoulder if up close. Don't ask me how i know:rolleyes:

    I have already used the load on two pigs at 200 yards out at whangamomona(expecting everyone to know where this is of course) and both were taken with one shot to the side of the head. I am going to the ruahines in a couple of weeks and all things being equal hopefully I will have some proof of my 308s new found accuracy
