    My point though, is that you already have a good powder. I think you should be more comfortable with compressing 2208 than you are with inventing your own load data, although I have done a fair bit of wild experimentation in the interest of thrift than I would care to admit to in print.

    Well i finally shot the 223
    It's been sitting in the safe unused since i originally posted this
    I zeroed it with a few rounds i had loaded with 2208
    As to be expected zero issues there and seems to be pretty accurate for a zastava

    Then I tried my home brew no data except GRT lever evolution loads
    I was only doing a quick test to find max pressure
    So only one round of each charge from 25 to 28.5gn
    Saw primer get quite flat at 28.0 right where grt says... so stopped there could probably go a bit hotter but I won't do that until im shooting a couple of groups as a single round isn't the best indicator but about 26 will be the starting point i think
