Its working out pretty well.

No I havnt had a play with a NV007 rear add on, thats what i originally was keen on getting as well, but this NV008 came up at a reasonable price 2nd hand.

It some ways i believe the 007 add on has some advantages, the picture clarity i believe can be better using a standard optical scope with a rear IR add on.

Also the process of aligning/shimming before doing the digital zeroing on the NV008 is a bit of a hassle initially, you dont have that drama with a rear add on as its just looking thru your normal scope/reticle.
