Forget the 00 or buckshot, I have never had great success with these despite having tried quite a lot of them.
Try 36grm BBs and you won't be disappointed.
Remember if they are running away from you aim for the ears, tips them up much better than one up the arse.

BB's have a good sized shot and a lot more in them than buckshot. They are also much better value. I use a reasonably tight choke and go for the head. Great for the close in bolters when walking or spotlighting at night from a vehicle.
