Thread: 2014 NT Hunt - Day 3

Day 3

Up early as usual but really putting an effort into looking for a Buff, saw a few but not quite big enough. Covered a lot of ground and came up empty handed in the morning. Matt had gone out to pick up the Donkey's I had snotted the day before, we met him back at camp for lunch then Shaun and I took them to a pig bait station, on the way we bumped into 3 Donkeys so they were quickly dispatched with the 300wm.



Back to camp for a breather and refreshments the 3 of headed in the opposite direct looking for Buff, came across a few but once again not quite big enough. On the way back around 6pm 4 horse's trotted nearby so out with the 375, dropped the Stallion with one round then bowled the next one on the run. The others 2 took a bit of lead.

Recovered a pill out of one of them.



Back to camp for a shower and well earned drink, I'd drink quite a few litres of water when out and about. We travelled with a couple of chilly bins filled with bottled water and soft drinks.

The trip so far sounds like a hell of a time. Where are the pigs?
