    Advice - Tahr Hunting Around Lawrence Biv and Upper Rangitata River

    Kia ora,

    A couple of us are planning on flying up to the Lawrence Biv area of the Rangitata River 14-18 Sep. Just looking for some advice for hunting tahr in that area. We aren't looking to scale any cliffs but are keen on getting after a few animals.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Sit outside the biv with your binos, once you find some, then decide how to approach them

    You checked out the DOC siting and cull info? Myself and mates have found it super useful and normally get's you into the right spots. Make sure you look at the siting maps AND cull info, they aren't both on the same pages.
