    Actually very close they were probably shot 20m apart. Have got one other clean one since then so at least the freezer isn't only full of venison

    Hard to tell from that picture. Between the skin and meat may not be reason for too much concern if it's localised to that one spot.

    The second photo looks too me like pus from an infection or wound.

    Anything in the lymph nodes? I caught a boar with tb along time ago and they were full of pussy stuff sort of like that.

    Cheers guys yeah sounds like the brown lumps might not be a problem but dropping the head in to be checked for tb to be sure

    That second photo, although not the clearest definitely looks like a TB lesion. I spent 15 years as a Meat Inspector many years ago and used to come across it quite often but I thought it had been mostly eliminated? The fact that both pigs were in the same area hugely increases that possibility. Will be interesting to see what the Vet diagnosis is.

    Yeah and according to Google unlike sheep measles pigs can catch them, so I got rid of that one in a hurry
