How advanced are you? Port Jackson is good for boarfish, pelagics etc but strong currents.. Harder to get good vis the closer to Thames you go. Around the other side I’ve shot kingfish all the way down around Whiritoa. So long as the vis is good, and the structure etc looks decent, you can’t go wrong anywhere on the peninsula.

Cheers guys will check those places out. I have done most of my diving around fiordland being the closest spot to home so although I may not be used to diving deep I am happy to swim in wash and currents. Primary goal is to get a feed but I am super keen to shoot a kingie and a snapper!
