Hey man. Sailors grave out of tairua is good. Watchman and slipper are both awesome, need a boat but you can catch a ferry to slipper.
Hotwater beach is good too. pretty much everywhere on the east coast with rocks will have some sort of fish holding up.

End of the kingi season now but may still be a few around, heaps of snapper around still and always a chance of a john dory or boarfish on the weedlines.
Vis is a bit crap in close at the moment unfortunately as there has been a solid swell for the last few weeks.
