The forks hut area is not that big Diggers is easy access off the Takaparai road.
There is a few groups of regular hunters that have been hunting forks for years and the landowner feels there is enough hunters going in there as well as they are a hunting family which is why they don't give out their number.

It's attitudes like these that are ruining hunting access and access for everyone into the ruahines.
Thinking just because you regularly hunt it, its not that large and the landowner is "managing" who hunts in there is absurd.
Public land is for the public and owners who willfully block people from accessing these places should be ashamed.


You obviously haven't tried to access diggers from Takapari Road in the last 5 years.
