    I never seen the news item, so tell me what are they promoting, fur or skin? The skin prices have taken a tumble lately and fur is not hitting any magic numbers.

    Be interesting to know the total cost of trying to eradicate possums over the years, how much has been spent on 1080 and if they will ever win ??
    My guess is it would blow us away, they will never get rid of them at least not by poisoning, and in the end and unfortunately trying to save the species the possums effect although sad is fruitless in the end.

    The cost to date would be a mind blowing figure and if they ever came close to winning the eradication of the possum, then some bunch of clowns (greenies) would cry for their protection and once again they would be a protected species.
