    Great story and a great looking animal.

    I have shot a few deer with the Hornet. What would this animal have weighted gutted.

    Springbok is usually 20 to 24kgs dressed, size of a big goat with long legs!

    Nah, they are really light, built for speed!
    When I say dressed I mean hanging in the chiller ready to butcher, so would weigh more just gutted like you would carry out a deer here.
    Good challenge to hunt though, tend to like open plains and can spot you from a way off, so unless you are a phenomenal stalker they are quite a challenge.
    NZ_Hunter did well to get to 70m!
