But please (pun intended) be aware of contaminating our water ways with giardia. It came here with either infected visitors or returnees from overseas washing their butts and bits in running water or too close to it and/or dropping their business where runoff takes it into a waterway. Giardia lives a long time and once into soil/water it's there to stay. Too late for some areas but don't be the one to spread it, especially in the back country. I've picked it up a couple of times fly-fishing and it's not pleasant. Unfortunately, the body can get used to it and so it doesn't get sorted and the contagion/dispersal continues. Don't be that person.
