    I just use one of my walking poles. Don't put anything at the top to protect the fly as the handle of the pole is nice and soft anyhow. Yeap could comfortably sleep 2 people so heaps of room for me and dog and can sit up etc. Works well, good system and set up like that it's stood up to every bit as much wind I've ever had a proper tent in no worries

    I thought you may have put under the centre tie out reinforcement and wondered about room.
