Thread: Morning routine - how long before out hunting from waking

In the earlier years up at the crack of dawn stalking as soon it was light. Then LED lights get up a hour or two before l would cook breakfast then walk to the nearest clearing, creek or river bed for a early deer. Now with a dog and long range shooting, the dog will find a deer any time of the day stalking so no hurry have breakfast in the sun and long range I can shoot a deer from camp and have another coffee.

If I'm doing a serious hunting trip the gear will be ready the night before and breakfast walkin to the hotspots before sunrise. I'm a very relaxed hunter now days no need to rush around and do a injury been there done that. Will leave that for the young fallas.
