I have hit hidden holes in the tussock so hard that I have 'stoppied' with an 80kg stag across the fuel tank/handlebars with me 100kgs on board. That's gonna do some damage to any light weight MTB's.

If you want to be quiet on a bike, just travel slowly.

And remember to swear quietly when you stack it up.
