I remember reading years ago of a rich arab "trophy hunter"who was hosted at a NZ game reserve .Having picked his trophy the poor bloody thing was driven past him and he still missed!
myself -i was in a taxidermists one day and spotted a full bod y wapiti mount -very impressive ,but what piqued my interest was two holes at antler bases . staff member appraoched me and i asked about it ,thinking maybe it was some sort of method for transporting big animals with horns .
yep i was partially correct .this had been shot by the neer do well son of a malaysian billionare ,whom daddy had had a gutsful of and sent him to coventry money no object .It was practise to obtain antlers off farmed stags and more money you pay the bigger rack we'll fit on your trophy.

Ileft the conversation and building at that -it offends my ethos on hunting .as for duck shooting -well I hunt in memory of my late father who died duckshooting and so ill keep that term but if you choose otherwise feel free .to clarify Dad suffered a stroke was comatosed and died a week later following a massive one-his 3rd.
