    Yep - I know what you mean about the pad. I use a 9.3x62 T3 battue for Sambar over here and it was rather unpleasant under recoil before I swappped the stock pad to a limbsaver, much nicer now. They've apparently upgraded the pad on the new model, but I haven't seen one in the flesh.
