    I'm guessing this wasn't recent, as you can sell a new one on grease for over a grand and can get a sportized one for under $100 on a good day.

    About 25 years ago. Doesn't bother me mate, it was given to me by my dad and I'll give it to my son.

    At least you got a new one,I got given one on its 3rd second hand barrel and that was worn out too!

    Rebarreled recently with a new in grease one and have shot a few deer with it for old times sake
