    Good shooting.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

An odd one my mate shot recently in the Ruahines, there was a bit of a wound where the other antler should have been, but we weren't sure if he had always been a one antler stag or it had been damaged.

Old buck, broken leg. Not pretty. So decided to shoot him. Spotted him last night right on dark at 600, came back first thing this morning and he wasn’t far away the same location and confirmed the leg was buggered before shooting him. Cool old bugger, double guards are quite neat. Still a fair bit of croaking going on and a few stags roaring in the distance.

A couple of very nice bucks there but if you shoot the little ones now the job of finding a bigger one in the future will be harder.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
