    Clearly the honourable member has never heard of speer grass or matagouri.
    To fill in the gaps in her knowledge she should have said species shoved up her arse.
    Gees, dont bring spear grass to the attention of Sage, it has developed its defense mechanism to prevent them being eaten by Maori.
    Fruit: These plants belong to the carrot family and produce small carrot-like roots. These and the young shoots and stems of immature plants have been eaten for centuries by Maori.
    She might start having a go at exterminating New Zealanders next to save the spaniards.
